Even switching compatibility mode doesn't work. I sat on the phone with a Canon tech support AND an IKON tech support person and neither one was able to assist with this dilema.
Was pretty strange to watch someone in 'Remote Desktop' mode trying to figure it all out and not being able to get it to work. I even downloaded the Windows XP Mode Virtual PC application and Windows 7 won't even allow me to install the copier driver though Win 7. Browsing around for further solutions I stumbled across a 'Guru' tech from Canon stating that they are not supporting any iR1630 driver's via Windows 7. I'm stuck in the same boat as wolf k.
